President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, on Saturday attended the funeral service in honour of the third President of Namibia, Late Dr Hage Geingob. He was ushered into the venue by the State Chief of Protocol, Ambassador Leonard Lipumbu.
As the leader of the Federal Government delegation to the ceremony, Senator Akpabio read President Bola Tinubu’s condolence message and thereafter, presented the condolence message to the President of the Republic of Namibia, Nangolo Mbumba.
He exchanged pleasantries with several serving and former world leaders, who graced the occasion, to pay their last respect to the late Namibian Leader.
