The Tinubu Campaign Organisation (TCO) has extended Easter greetings to Christians across Nigeria, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In a statement released on Saturday in Abuja, TCO described the Easter season as a joyous celebration of divine restoration, recovery, and liberty.
TCO urged Nigerians to emulate Christ’s values of kindness, love, forgiveness, humility, and hope.
The group prayed that the resurrection power of Jesus would bring renewed life, hope, and joy to individuals and the nation, enabling Nigeria to overcome challenges of insecurity and harsh economic condition.
TCO seized the opportunity to commend President Bola Tinubu for declaring a state of emergency in the agricultural sector to ensure food security.
The group described this move as a timely intervention that should be strengthened by establishing an intervention agency with effective monitoring and management capacity.
However, TCO noted that previous intervention programs by the Tinubu administration were hindered by saboteurs and enemies of progress at the ministry where the intervention were domiciled.
The group recommended that the proposed intervention agency be directly supervised by the Presidency to avoid similar pitfalls.
“By doing so, we believe that the agency will effectively address the challenges facing the agricultural sector and ensure food security for Nigerians”, TCO stated.
