…As Newly Constituted Board Holds Induction Retreat in Uyo
The Board of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) chaired by Chief Idris Olorunnimbe convened an induction retreat in Uyo recently with the aim of asserting the Commission’s key role in Nigeria’s digital economy.
At the retreat, the Board deliberated on core matters relating to governance, regulatory oversight and the pivotal role of the telecommunications sector.
The retreat which had eminent facilitators including Mrs. Yetunde Akinloye, a Lawyer with extensive exposure in Telecommunication added spice to deliberations to ensure that the Board was grounded in the legal and regulatory framework governing the sector.
