Lagos Firm Terminates Miss Egbujor’s Appointment For Alleged Same-Sex Advances On Female Colleague

By Alfred Babatunde

Miss Miracle Princess Egbujor appears to have found herself in big soup after she was accused by Miss Favour Okoro of making inappropriate sexual advances towards her during a two-day quality auditing training organized by Biomedics Diagnostics Company.

Recall that both staff were selected by their organization to attend a training in the outskirts of Lagos; however, it was alleged by Miss Okoro that Miss Egbujor made sexual moves that she immediately declined.

Displeased by her action, Miss Okoro reported the incident to the management of Biomedics Diagnostics Company, and an investigation to probe the case was opened.

The management, after making their various findings, condemned Miss Egbujor’s action, stating that it contravenes the company’s code of conduct and professional ethics.

In furtherance, Miss Egbujor’s appointment was later terminated by the company on August 15, 2025, and the case was reported to the Lagos State Police Command, thereby leading to an official invitation for interrogation from the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba.

For violating the public decency and the same-sex laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Egbujor was officially invited for interrogation by the State Criminal Investigation Department.

But she has failed to honour the invitation and, efforts to reach Egbujor for comment have also proved abortive.

The incident has created talking points among people within her work environment and Nigerians at large on social media.

But sources close to her disclosed that Egbujor has been emotionally traumatised with the whole same-sex drama.
