First round of winners emerged from Week 1 of the Governor’s Milestone Quiz Competition with six individuals coming out top in the first-place category.
The winners are Godwin W, Benedicta O, Damilare O, Bolaji W, Igw I and Benjamin O., and each winner in this category has won a Tablet, jacket and tote bag filled with Bluetooth speakers, suction mug, flash-drive, T-shirt , Lagos Historical puzzle book, note pad and pen, gift cards and visit to LASRAB Gallery and John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture & History.
Second place winners are Opelouwa O, Kamaldeen S, Abosede A, Adekunle C, Omotoso I, Victoria W Claire O, Komolafe P Opeyemi F, and Motunrayo V .
In the third place category are Demola B, Adekola R, Rejoice A, Vincent W, Umar M, Salau V, Asaolu T.A, Fatima I, Dennis K and Bidemi O.
The 20 consolation prize winners includes Oyeniyi A.,Bukola I., Asogwa D., Jamal M., Monsura I., Tracey L., Haleema A., Kaayode O., Latifah A., Clinton E., Maryam F., Adewunmi A., Abiola A., Fisayo O., Bakare I., Oluwatosin O., Layode L., Arapha A., Adoghe S and Adebayo A.
The successful completion of the first week of the competition marked an exciting start to the intellectually engaging contest. The initiative, designed to promote knowledge, learning, and healthy competition among participants, witnessed impressive performances throughout the week. Prizes will be formally presented to winners on December 3, 2025.
In order to ensure fairness and provide equal opportunity to all participants, weekly winners will not be allowed to compete in the remaining weeks of the competition so as to give other contestants a fair chance at winning in subsequent rounds.

The Governor’s Milestone Quiz Competition was put together by the Lagos State Records and Archives Bureau in conjunction with Ministry of Information and Strategy.
The competition continues next week with renewed enthusiasm as more participants vie for recognition and rewards in the coming rounds.
